Romantica. Fantasy for two pianos

Eduard Douša

Romantica – Fantasy for two pianos was created in 1995 for the piano duo Eva Benešová and Blanka Rejmanová. The composer was asked to write an original piece for two pianos because of the Schubert competition in Jeseník. In later years, this composition was presented at the Days of Contemporary Music in Prague, and in 2021, the recording for the CD Tones of piano was done by Ivo Kahánek together with Eva Doušová (formerly Benešová). It is a concert piece with deep expressive impact.
