Variations on Moravian theme

This four hand piece was composed thanks to the iniciative of organizers of the Piano masterclass in Mikulov, namely on the occasion of commemorating the quarter of century of its existence. The theme of the piece is an original motive, none the less, based on Moravian folklore (lydic melody). In following variations the theme goes through various stylistic mutations – from romantism, followed by jazz setting up to technically pompous ending.
